IRVING, Texas (AP) — The Cowboys have signed a pair of offensive linemen in seventh-round pick Laurence Gibson and free agent Reshod Fortenberry, one of the workout players invited to rookie minicamp earlier this month.
Gibson, a tackle from Virginia Tech, was one of two linemen drafted by Dallas. Fortenberry is a guard from Texas Tech.
With Gibson's signing Friday, the Cowboys have four of their eight picks under contract. The highest to sign so far is fifth-rounder Ryan Russell, a defensive end from Purdue. All three of Dallas' seventh-round picks have signed.
The Cowboys also waived Louisiana-Lafayette guard Daniel Quave, one of their undrafted free agents.
