BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — Police are looking for a voyeur who set up a hidden video camera in a dorm bathroom on the University of California, Berkeley campus.

UC Berkeley Police said Thursday they are also notifying women who may have fallen victim to an invasion of privacy.

The San Jose Mercury News reports (http://bayareane.ws/1A4ZvtB) the recording device was discovered last week in the women's staff restroom of a residence hall.

Investigators say that sometime in late April a sign was posted on the women's public restroom in the dorm saying it was closed and directing people to use the bathroom where the video camera was discovered on May 8.

Police say a person of interest in the case has been identified but that they are no longer affiliated with the school.
