ATLANTA (AP) — The status of Washington's John Wall remains uncertain for tonight's NBA playoff game between the Wizards and Hawks in Atlanta. Wall was injured in the first game of the series, which is tied at two wins apiece. Game 6 in the best-of-seven affair will be played in Washington Friday night.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — The Western Conference semifinal between Golden State and Memphis resumes tonight in Oakland with the series tied at 2-2. The Warriors evened things up with a 101-84 victory in Memphis two nights ago. Game 6 will be played Friday night in Memphis.

NEW YORK (AP) — Hockey fans will have their TV's tuned to the Rangers-Capitals game this evening in New York. At stake is a spot in the NHL's Eastern Conference final and a date with Tampa Bay. The Rangers and Caps are tied 3-3 and Washington's Alex Ovechkin (oh-VECH'-kin) has promised a win for his team.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Helio Castroneves (EHL'-ee-oh cas-troh-NEHV'-us) was involved in a dramatic crash during practice today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The three-time Indy 500 winner hit the wall, rolled backwards and flipped over. He was cleared by the track medical staff after climbing out of the car without assistance.

LONDON (AP) — The U.S. men's sprint relay team from the 2012 Olympics has been stripped of its silver medal by the International Olympic Committee. The entire U.S. team has been stripped of its medals as a result of Tyson Gay's doping case. Gay returned his own medal last year after accepting a one-year doping suspension and the loss of results going back to July 2012.
