EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State wide receiver Andre Sims has been released from his scholarship so he can complete his final year of eligibility elsewhere after graduating last week.

Sims earned a degree in journalism.

Coach Mark Dantonio says the Spartans wish him the best of luck entering his final season. Sims caught 13 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown in three seasons with the Spartans.
