WACO, Texas (AP) — Guard Ieshia Small has been granted a release from the Baylor women's basketball team.

The Lady Bears also announced Monday night that freshman post player Micayla Buckner is transferring to Collin County Community College. That school is in McKinney, Texas, not far from Bucker's home in Richardson.

Small, who is from Miami, Florida, averaged 2.6 points and 1.7 assists while playing in 28 games as a sophomore for the Lady Bears last season.

Buckner was in uniform for games, but never saw any action as Baylor won its fifth consecutive Big 12 title.
