SPANISH FORK — An overturned semitruck has traffic backed up for miles along U.S. Highway 6 approximately 15 miles east of Spanish Fork.
The accident occurred near mile marker 193 just before noon on Sunday, according to UHP Sgt. Kellie Oaks. An R&G Transportation tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound when it took a bend in the road too fast, causing the trailer to tip on its side. The vehicle was carrying about 44,000 pounds of potatoes.
No one was injured in the accident, and the tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved.
