NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans waived tight end Brett Brackett on Friday.

Brackett played seven games for the Titans last season before sustaining a knee injury Dec. 14 in a 16-11 loss to the New York Jets. Brackett was placed on injured reserve two days later.

The former Penn State player also hurt his knee and was placed on injured reserve by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.
