NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Just in time for Mother's Day, nursing stations have been installed at Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia airports.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the stations offer on-the-go moms a private and clean place to nurse their children.

The units feature bench seating, outlets, a fold-down table and power supply for pumping. There is space for luggage or a stroller and the unit also can be locked from the inside.

Nursing stations at Newark Liberty are located inside Terminal B beyond the security checkpoints in the B2 and B3 concourses.

LaGuardia's nursing station is in Terminal B along Concourse A.

The Port Authority plans to install additional units in the future.
