SALT LAKE CITY (Monday, June 2, 2008) - Real Salt Lake FW Robbie Findley was voted Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for Week 10 of the 2008 season. Findley was the catalyst for Real Salt Lake's 3-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes, after he entered the game just before halftime and scored the game's first goal in the 48th minute and provided the assist on MF Javier Morales' 60th minute game-winning goal last Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium. This is the first Player of the Week award for the 22-year-old Findley, who joined Real Salt Lake last June in a trade with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Last season Findley led all MLS rookies with eight goals and was Real Salt Lake's Golden Boot winner with six tallies in an RSL uniform.

Findley's Player of the Week honor is the first for a Real Salt Lake player since former FW Jeff Cunningham garnered the award for his two-goal effort in RSL's 2007 season opener against FC Dallas on April 7, 2007. Findley was the last Real Salt Lake player to earn a league-wide honor, as his breakaway finish in a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on August 4, 2007, earned the Oregon State product the Sierra Mist Goal of the Week award.

Real Salt Lake (3-5-2, 11 pts.) is back in action this Saturday, June 7, at 7:00 p.m. MT, when the Utah side will play host to the Kansas City Wizards (3-4-2, 11 pts.) at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
