(KSL News) Watchful neighbors saved a man's house from going up in flames today.
Salt Lake City fire officials say a neighbor called them saying smoke was coming from a home on 1300 East and about 1100 South.
When crews arrived, they found a man asleep inside the home, unaware of the fire burning in the attic. The man got out safely and crews were able to keep the fire from spreading.
The cause is under investigation.
