This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

It all started two years ago when three sisters, Nicole Bruderer, Colette Callister and Jennifer Anderson, decided they wanted to start a business together. They were brainstorming what type of company to create when one of their daughters remarked how difficult it was to find fashionable and modest swimwear.

All three sisters did extensive research to find out what was already available and Colette, who had taken classes on fashion and merchandising in college, started sketching ideas for swimwear. What followed was eight months of hard work, designing and trying different suits, finding the right material until finally Nicole, Colette and Jennifer launched Lime Ricki Swimwear.

Lime Ricki (spelled with an "i") Swimwear provides all types of modest swimwear from children's sizes up to plus sizes. Nicole says up to this point all the suits have been two-piece tankinis, with long pieces designed to overlap so the suit is still modest. This season the company released a line of one-piece suits.

Nicole and her sisters tried to find fabrics for their swimwear that were colorful, fun and exciting to appeal to a wide variety of people. Their signature suits are lime green with a halter top with brown and white polka dots, hence the name Lime Ricki Swimwear. However, the business also offers other plain and patterned suits and a more sophisticated line will debut in June. The suits are available for purchase at limericki.com

All three have been surprised at how well received the suits have been thus far. Originally the products were intended for a teenage audience but interest was so high the line quickly grew to include children and adults. Nicole says they are looking into expanding Lime Ricki's product line to include suits with skirted bottoms and cover-up dresses.

Lime Ricki Swimwear is committed to offering modest, fun and cute swimwear. The three sisters enjoy working together to provide products their own daughters would want to wear.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
