CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery rose 7.75 cents to $5.2650 a bushel; May corn lost a penny to 3.77 a bushel; May oats were 2.50 cents lower at 2.6650 a bushel; while May soybeans declined 2 cents to $9.5150 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle fell 2.77 cents to $1.4880 a pound; May feeder cattle was off 3.98 cents to $2.0972 a pound; while June lean hogs were 1.35 cents higher at $.7815 a pound.
