HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — MGM Resorts International says its sale of the 84-year-old Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino near the Hoover Dam is complete.
The hotel company first announced the sale to Henderson-based First Federal Realty in September pending regulatory approvals.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company says the Nevada Gaming Commission approved Marcus Gaming LLC to operate the casino while First Federal Realty's Joe DeSimone Jr. pursues a gaming license.
When MGM Resorts acquired the Mandalay Resort Group in 2005, the Railroad Pass was included.
The property opened in 1931 as a casino and dance hall and has been visited by workers building the Hoover Dam and residents of nearby Boulder City where no casinos are allowed.
The casino has 330 slot machines, six table games and a sports book.
