LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a man was found dead in Las Vegas after a home invasion was reported.

The body was found at a home in the 6800 block of Fallona Avenue after another person went to a convenience store nearby to report a home invasion.

A female that police believe was also a victim of the crime told the clerk that a man had been injured shortly before 2:30 a.m.

The woman suffered minor injuries and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Las Vegas police said they are investigating the case as a homicide.

The man has not been identified.
