TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A meat packing company in Tucson is recalling more than 2,100 pounds of roast beef due to misbranding.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the product was mistakenly labeled as corned beef on the label.
They say the 6 pound to 10 pound packages of "Ready to Cook Corned Beef Bottom Round Flat" that was produced on Feb. 18 by the Stock Yards Meat Packing Co. are subject to the recall.
Agricultural officials say the product was shipped to businesses in Arizona and California.
The problem was discovered when a customer of the recalling firm received the mislabeled product.
