EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Police at Michigan State University issued a campus alert after a driver showed a gun during a suspected road rage incident.

Police arrested a man and recovered a gun after the incident between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday on the school's East Lansing campus. No one was injured.

Sgt. Steve Brandman tells the Lansing State Journal that it started as a "dispute between drivers," but he didn't immediately have specifics.

An initial alert went out shortly after 8 p.m. An updated alert issued less than two hours later said a suspect was in custody.
