FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) -- An investigator says Cache County prosecutors didn't mistreat a witness in the sexual misconduct case of a Logan doctor.

The FBI had raised concerns about the treatment of a woman whose story helped convict anesthesiologist Raymond Bedell. FBI agents said the witness had recanted her story to them.

Davis County deputy chief attorney Bill McGuire investigated how the case was handled. Though he reviewed 15 "areas of concern" in the FBI's report, McGuire said he found no sign of impropriety. He released his 18-page report on Saturday.

Later in the day, U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman and Timothy Fuhrman, the FBI special agent in charge in Salt Lake City, said in a statement that McGuire's report was incomplete because the FBI agents who wrote the report were never interviewed.
