COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Crew Stadium will be called MAPFRE (MAH'-fray) Stadium after the team signed a multiyear naming-rights deal.

The Columbus Crew SC announced Tuesday it had reached the deal with MAPFRE, an international insurance company.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The team issued a release saying it was for multiple years and millions of dollars.

The team's home has been called Crew Stadium since 1999.

The Crew open their 20th season in Major League Soccer on March 7 at Houston. The home opener at MAPFRE Stadium will be March 14 against Toronto FC.
