EATON, Ohio (AP) — Felony child-endangerment charges have been filed against the mother of two young siblings who died in a house fire last weekend in western Ohio.

A complaint filed Wednesday says 35-year-old Chastity Hall left her 10-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son alone in the home before they perished in the early morning fire Saturday.

Authorities say the remains of Malea and Malachi Bradburn were found later in the home near West Alexandria, near the Indiana border.

The complaint says a fire official had been to the home before because Malachi was setting fires, and Hall had refused to get him counseling. The cause of Saturday's fire remains under investigation.

Hall was jailed on a $50,000 bond. Court records didn't list an attorney for her. She's due back in court March 4.
