DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — Tyler Les scored a career-high 28 points and UC Davis outlasted Hawaii 74-67 on Saturday.

His nine 3-pointers give him an even 200 in his career. Corey Hawkins, fourth in the country in scoring at 21.5 points, was held to six.

UC Davis (21-4, 11-1 Big West) led by as many as 13 in the first half, but Garrett Nevels drilled a 3-pointer with 27 seconds before intermission to give the Rainbow Warriors a 39-36 halftime lead.

Dyrbe Enos' 3-pointer with 7:56 to go put Hawaii up 61-55, but UC Davis responded with 11 straight points, including a pair of 3s by Les, to lead 66-61 with 4:10 left.

Hawaii cut it to three after Stefan Jovanovic made a pair from the line, but Neal Monson converted an offensive board, then Corey Hawkins' layup restored the cushion.

Stefan Jankovic led Hawaii (18-11, 6-7) with 21 points.
