MILWAUKEE (AP) — Denver Nuggets coach Brian Shaw planned to make guard Ty Lawson a healthy scratch for Friday night's game against the Milwaukee Bucks for missing practice this week.

Shaw said Lawson would be "disciplined internally" for the infraction on Wedensday.

Lawson leads the Nuggets in scoring at 16.9 points per game. The guard has said that he had been stranded in Las Vegas on Wednesday when he missed a flight trying to return to Denver during the All-Star break.

Denver's lineup is in flux after dealing Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee to Portland, and JaVale McGee to Philadelphia at Thursday's trade deadline.
