Saint Peter's comes back to beat Siena 65-57

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Marvin Dominique scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half to lead Saint Peter's to a 65-57 win over Siena on Monday night.

Both teams started slow but Siena had a 26-17 lead at the half and was up 41-40 with 9:51 remaining in the game. Dominique drove the lane for a twisting layup to give the Peacocks a 46-43 lead. He slammed home a dunk for a 55-47 advantage and Saint Peter's outscored the Saints 48-31 in the second half.

Dominique was 8 of 13 from the floor and made 10 of 11 free throws. Desi Washington had 13 points for Saint Peter's (12-13, 6-8 Metro Atlantic Conference).

The Peacocks picked up 38 points in the paint while limiting Siena to 26.

Marquis Wright had 14 points and Javion Ogunyemi added 13 for Siena (9-14, 6-8).
