POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Chuck Buck, the chairman of Buck Knives Inc., has died. He was 78.

His son, CJ Buck, tells the Coeur d'Alene Press (http://bit.ly/1CMdN2w) that his father died Friday of congestive heart failure while surrounded by family.

The company that has a history going back about 110 years moved to the northern Idaho town of Post Falls 10 years ago.

CJ Buck says the company is infused with the integrity and caring that was present in his father.

Ron Nilson, a business colleague and one of Chuck Buck's friends, says Chuck Buck will be sorely missed.

Buck Knives makes an array of popular knives ranging from hunting knives to survival and tactical knives.
