LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) — Matt Lopez scored a career-high 27 points with 10 rebounds, blocked a shot at the end of regulation and scored six points in overtime as Rider defeated Manhattan 85-77 on Sunday in a battle for second place in the Metro Atlantic.

Lopez scored the first four points in overtime and had two late free throws after Teddy Okereafor made 4 of 6 in the final minute as the Broncs (16-9, 10-4) beat the Jaspers (12-11, 9-5) in overtime for the second time this season to remain two games behind Iona.

After Okereafor made two free throws with 17 seconds left to tie the game at 72, then Emmy Andujar drove for the game-winner but Lopez blocked his shot.

Rider has won 4 of 5 and 12 of 15 in ending Manhattan's four-game winning streak.

Andujar had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Shane Richards added 18 points and Ashton Pankey 16 with 12 rebounds for Manhattan.
