(KSL News) -- A new pill that claims to help people lose 10 percent of their body weight has hit the market in Britain.
The drug makers say it can help stop food cravings and target the weight sitting at the waist. They say it will not only help you lose weight, it can also guard against heart disease.
Dr. Nick Finer, Obesity Expert: "I think this drug stands the possibility of making a very real contribution to reducing not only ill health and the risks of ill health, but actually economically."
Some doctors are concerned about the new pill, saying drugs should be a minor thought and people should focus on diet and exercise.
Makers of the new pill say it should be used in combination with excercise.
