MIAMI (AP) — Terrell Williams has been hired as defensive line coach of the Miami Dolphins a month after taking the job as the Florida Gators' defensive line coach.
Williams spent the past three seasons as defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders. In Miami, he'll replace Kacy Rodgers, who was hired last month as the New York Jets' defensive coordinator.
Oakland ranked 22nd in the NFL against the run and tied for 30th in sacks last season. The Dolphins ranked 24th and tied for 16th, and their line struggled at the end of the year as the team faded from playoff contention.
