AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Luol Deng returned to Miami's starting lineup Tuesday night at Detroit after missing three games with a left calf strain.
Deng averaged 14.3 points through his first 41 games this season, ranking third on the team behind Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Wade is out with a right hamstring strain, and the Heat are also missing Josh McRoberts, who is out for the season after knee surgery.
The Pistons are without point guard Brandon Jennings, who is out with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
