McNeese State rolls in 2nd half, beats SE Louisiana 73-60

HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Desharick Guidry recorded his 15th double-double in 20 games as McNeese State rolled over Southeastern Louisiana 73-60 in Southland Conference action on Monday night.

Guidry, who leads the conference in double-doubles, had 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jamaya Burr added 17 points and Keelan Garrett chipped in 14 for McNeese State (9-11, 3-6).

Southeastern Louisiana led 35-34 at the break. Garrett nailed a 3-pointer to start the second half to take the lead, which the Cowboys never relinquished. The Lions have now lost four straight.

The Lions actually outshot McNeese State from the floor, 48.9 percent to 39 percent. However, the Cowboys made 11 of 32 from long range while Southeastern made just 3 of 14 from beyond the arc.

Onochie Ochie had a career-high 19 points, Cedrick Jenkins contributed 17 and Zay Jackson had 10 for Southeastern Louisiana (5-16, 2-6)
