CHICAGO (AP) — Bobby Wood has left the U.S. national team's training camp to return to Europe and will miss Sunday's exhibition game against Panama in Carson, California.

Wood, who played in the first half of last week's 3-2 loss at Chile, traveled to Germany to complete a loan from 1860 Munich to fellow second-division team Erzgebirge Aue, the U.S. Soccer Federation said Monday. The USSF does not plan to replace Wood on the roster.

Wood has made six appearances for the U.S.
