SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Matt Mooney scored 20 points off the bench to lead Air Force to a 66-52 win over San Jose State on Wednesday night.

Hayden Graham added 16 points and six rebounds for the Falcons (9-11, 2-7 Mountain West Conference). Trevor Lyons had 11 points.

San Jose State led early in the first period with the help of a trio of 3-pointers by Rashad Muhammad. But Air Force went on a 13-0 run after that and led 29-23 at the break.

A Mooney 3-pointer made it 42-33 for the Falcons with 12:46 to go in the second period. San Jose State went on a 9-2 run to pull within four points, 48-44, with 7:50 left before Air Force took it to 63-50 on 4-of-4 shooting from the line by Justin Hammonds with a minute to play.

Jaleel Williams led the Spartans (2-18, 0-8) with 16 points and seven rebounds.
