GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The NFL's Pro Bowl game is tonight in Glendale, Arizona, the site of next Sunday's Super Bowl. If you watch the game check out the goal posts as the league is trying to find a way to make the PAT less easy for teams to score. For the game the goal posts will be narrowed from the standard 18.6 feet to just 14 feet. In addition, the kick will be moved back to the 15-yard line, making it about a 33-yard field goal.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The NHL All-Star Game is being played today in Columbus, Ohio. Many of the game's top players won't be on the ice because of injuries. Among the missing are Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Jimmy Howard.

ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta's Hawks have won their last 15 straight games. Today they are looking for No. 16 in a row with a home game against Minnesota. The Hawks started the day with a seven-game lead over Washington in the Southeast Division.

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Second-week play in the Australian Open starts tonight, U.S. time. The schedule calls for the return of the top seeds Serena Williams, who's facing Garbine Muguruza (GAHR'-been moo-guh-ROO'-zuh) of Spain, and Novak Djokovic (NOH'-vak JOH'-kuh-vich), going up against Gilles Muller (zheel MUL'-ur) of Luxembourg.

ST. MORITZ, Switzerland (AP) — Another win for American skier Lindsey Vonn. She won a super-G race today in Switzerland, giving her a record-extending 64 World Cup victories. Vonn became the all-time wins leader in women's Alpine skiing last weekend.
