OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Trey Canard raced to his first AMA Supercross victory in nearly four years, winning the 450SX Class final Saturday night.

Team Honda's Canard, who passed Chad Reed on the sixth lap at O.co Coliseum, last won in Arlington, Texas, in April 2011.

Geico Honda's Malcolm Stewart won for the first time in the Western Regional 250SX Class Championship.

Ken Roczen, who came in as the points leader with two wins, passed Reed on the first lap but didn't have the momentum needed to clear the triple jump and crashed upon landing. He finished 16th overall.

Red Bull/KTM's Ryan Dungey finished second, while Reed finished third.
