TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Julius Brown scored 28 points and sank four key free throws in the final 18 seconds to lead Toledo to a 71-67 win over Bowling Green on Saturday night.

Trailing by a point midway through the second half, Toledo pulled away with an 8-0 burst that included a pair of layups from Brown to make it 57-50 with 7:48 left. Bowling Green (12-5, 4-2) cut the margin to two with Jovan Austin's layup that made it 67-65 with 22 seconds left, but Brown cemented the win with four straight free throws down the stretch.
