SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are looking for a man who went missing from the Valley Woods Treatment Center Sunday afternoon.
Larry Caplinger, 68, was last seen at the treatment center, 3610 S. 1000 West, Sunday around 4:30 p.m., according to South Salt Lake police. Caplinger has a history of taking taxi cabs from the facility to travel around the Salt Lake Valley, police said.
Police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Caplinger due to mental and medical health concerns.
Caplinger is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has long, brown hair and a long, graying beard. It is unknown what clothing he is wearing.
