TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) — A former Utah Jazz dancer has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a student of her dance studio.
Amber Telford of Taylorsville was arrested Friday for investigation of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The 33-year-old Telford, who owns Colette's Dancing School, is accused of having sex with the teen seven times between September and December.
According to a jail document, the activity was discovered on Nov. 28 after Telford's estranged husband hired a private detective.
The Deseret News reports court records show she filed for divorce in September, about the same time the activity began. She has three children.
