(KSL News) -- The city of Highland is facing a lawsuit that claims the city hall is not accessible to the disabled.

The Disability Law Center filed the suit, claiming an uneven ramp leading up to the main entrance of the building makes it difficult for those with mobility problems to open the door.

In addition, there are no handrails along the ramp. The lawsuit asks the city to make changes in order to bring the building into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The city has not commented on the lawsuit.
