Manager of nightflight comics, Mimi Cruise, says lots are people are coming in with everything related to the superheroes.
"People are excited about it. They are interested in the character, which is really nice. We haven't had this kind of interest since the death of Superman."
Cruise says that Superman has been published since 1938 and is still as popular as ever.
"One thing that never seems to go away is there is a genuine love for truth and honesty. And Americans have co-oped that as truth and honesty in the American way."
Warner Bros. has supplied stores with prepaid post cards to send to the troops overseas letting them know that they are the true superheroes.
