SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — West Jordan police are looking for one of their own officers who went missing on Tuesday.
Sgt. Dan Roberts said Thursday that Officer Jedediah "JR" Steadman drove away from his home after an argument with his wife, and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Police say Steadman is an avid outdoorsman who likes to hunt and fish, and may have gotten stranded somewhere.
Steadman is 34 years old and about 5 feet 9 inches tall with brown hair and eyes. He weighs about 160 pounds.
He was driving a 1998 Blue Dodge pickup with license plate is B963D and a fallen officer memorial decal.
Authorities are asking anyone who has seen Steadman to call police.
