BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — Tyran de Lattibeaudiere scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to propel Lamar to an 85-59 win over Huston-Tillotson on Tuesday night.

Dontavious Sears added 17 points, Donovan Ross had 13 and Kevin Booze 12 for Lamar (6-6), which enjoyed a 51-28 rebounding advantage and extended its win streak to four. Marcus Owens finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Cardinals took control midway through the first half with a 14-5 run fueled by 3-pointers from Sears and Booze that made it 25-13 and then continued to pull away, carrying a 48-25 lead into the break. The margin never fell below double figures in the second half.

Huston-Tillotson, an NAIA team, led briefly after the opening tipoff when Ronzelle Fort sank the first bucket of the game but then quickly fell behind.

Darion Cooks led the Rams with 16 points, and Quincy Durden had 12.
