MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) — A northern New Jersey teacher who allegedly had a sexual relationship with a student has been charged with official misconduct.
Morris County prosecutors say 32-year-old Nicole McDonough, of Mount Olive Township, was arrested Tuesday.
Prosecutors say the charge stems from an investigation that began when authorities learned that McDonough had a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old student while she worked at West Morris Mendham High School. The relationship allegedly occurred between May and June of this year.
A telephone number for McDonough could not be located Tuesday. It wasn't known if she has retained an attorney.
