A report released Tuesday by the Department of Health and Human Services says 187,654 Georgians selected marketplace plans for 2015 between Nov. 15 and Dec. 15. The report says of that number, 55 percent are new enrollees and 45 percent are re-enrolling for coverage.
The report says 250,766 Georgians have been determined eligible to enroll in a marketplace plan. Of that number, 200,426 have been determined eligible to enroll in a plan with financial assistance.
The report says about 23 percent of the Georgians who have been determined eligible to enroll have not selected a marketplace plan for 2015.
