TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls County sheriff's deputy has been hospitalized and his canine partner is missing after another vehicle collided with their patrol vehicle. Idaho State Police tell The Times-News that 35-year-old Stanton Wiggins of Filer was on U.S. Highway 93 when he was struck by another vehicle. Wiggins underwent hand surgery and was in stable condition yesterday.

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — The director of the Idaho State Police has rescinded permission for the use of red lights on security vehicles at Idaho State University. Police say in the letter that they learned campus security has been using the red lights to stop motorists. Police say the school obtained permission to use the lights to alert traffic, not conduct traffic stops.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A missing autistic teenager has been found safe. Boise police say the 18-year-old woman from Boise was found Sunday evening after her family reported her missing that morning. Paramedics say she was cold and wet but unharmed.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho Lottery officials say a lottery ticket sold in eastern Idaho is worth $2 million. Idaho Lottery's Director says the ticket sold in Fremont County matched the first five numbers of Saturday night's draw and had the PowerPlay option. Because the ticket buyer spent an extra $1 for the PowerPlay option, the ticket matching the five numbers is worth $2 million rather than just $1 million. There was no jackpot winner. Officials estimate the jackpot for tomorrow's draw will be $120 million.
