JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Defensive lineman Jaylen Miller and defensive back D'Andre Payne aren't with Tennessee for TaxSlayer Bowl practices and intend to transfer.

Tennessee coach Butch Jones confirmed Monday that neither player was with the team as the Volunteers (6-6) practiced for Friday's bowl game against Iowa (7-5). Jones says that "wherever they feel they can play, we'll help them."

A sophomore from Gaffney, South Carolina, Miller played nine games this season and made two tackles. Payne is a freshman from Washington who made four tackles in eight games.
