FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have placed safety Rontez Miles on the injured reserve list and promoted wide receiver Quincy Enunwa from the practice squad.
The Jets announced the move Saturday, a day before their season finale at Miami against the Dolphins.
Miles spent most of the season on the practice squad. He needed emergency leg surgery last week after hurting his shin area in a collision with a teammate in practice.
Enunwa was a sixth-round draft pick out of Nebraska last May and spent the first 15 games on the practice squad. He had a domestic violence charge against him dismissed in court in October after an incident at a hotel near the team's facility Aug. 31.
