HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) — A 62-year-old Montana woman has been charged with felony intimidation and misdemeanor assault after her roommate accused the woman of running into her with a walker, causing her to fall.
The Ravalli Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1ARG0SS ) that Joyce Marie Renfroe of Hamilton and her roommate fought about finances on Dec. 8.
Jeanne Hatfield told police she was standing in the hallway with her walker when Renfroe came out of her bedroom with her own walker and told Hatfield to move or she was going to run her over. Hatfield alleges Renfroe did so, causing her to fall.
Renfroe told officers the collision was an accident, but she acknowledged threatening to kill Hatfield if she called police. Renfroe hasn't entered a plea and remains free on her own recognizance.
