A hard fighter and a tasty fish, the mountain whitefish is a native to Utah and closely related to the trout. It's also one of the most distribution Salmonid fishes in western North America.
Although the mountain whitefish is not the most popular sport fish in Utah, many anglers do seek this species, especially during the winter.
