JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't had a lot of chances to make history in recent years. At least not in a positive way.
So maybe that's why they're taking a little extra pride in what they can accomplish in the season finale at Houston (8-7) on Sunday.
If Marqise Lee catches five passes against the Texans, the Jaguars (3-12) would become the first NFL team to have three rookie receivers with at least 40 receptions in the same season.
Allen Robinson caught 48 passes for 548 and two touchdowns before going on injured reserve last month. Allen Hurns has 49 receptions for 662 yards and six scores. Lee has 35 catches for 414 yards and a touchdown.
Lee says "that being a possibility is great."
