PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Will Cummings scored 19 points, Quenton DeCosey had 18 and Temple stunned No. 10 Kansas with a 77-52 rout Monday night that snapped the Jayhawks' eight-game winning streak.

Jesse Morgan added 17 points and keyed a dominant second-half performance from the Owls, who were swallowed up after the game by a sea of Temple fans rushing the court at the Wells Fargo Center, home of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers.

Frank Mason III scored 20 points for Kansas (9-2), which shot 32.7 percent from the field and committed 17 turnovers.

No one else on the Jayhawks hit double figures, and leading scorer Perry Ellis was held to five points on 1-for-10 shooting.

The Owls (8-4), who have won four of their last five, shot a blistering 58.3 percent from the field to beat a ranked opponent for the first time this season.

No. 16 NOTRE DAME 91, NORTHERN ILLINOIS 66

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Pat Connaughton had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Notre Dame over Northern Illinois.

Zach Auguste added 16 points, on 7-for-7 shooting, and eight rebounds for the Fighting Irish (12-1). Demetrius Jackson also scored 16, with five assists and four steals.

All five starters scored in double figures for Notre Dame, which shot 58.9 percent from the field and hit 12 of 28 attempts from 3-point range. Connaughton was 8 for 12 from the floor, including 5 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Notre Dame finished the first half with a 27-14 run to go up 48-35 at halftime.

Darrell Bowie led the Huskies (4-5) with 15 points.

No. 21 OHIO STATE 93, MIAMI (OHIO) 55

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Reserve guard Kam Williams scored 18 points and Ohio State went on a 26-3 run in the first half to beat Miami (Ohio).

Marc Loving had 16 points, D'Angelo Russell added 15 points and eight assists, and Keita Bates-Diop scored 12 for the Buckeyes (10-2), who are 10-0 at Value City Arena and 0-2 against ranked opponents away from home this season.

Ohio State fell behind early against No. 24 North Carolina on Saturday and lost 82-74 — similar to the scenario in a 64-55 loss to No. 5 Louisville on Dec. 2. But the Buckeyes never trailed against overmatched Miami.

LJ Livingston Jr. had 17 points and Geovonie McKnight 10 for the RedHawks (3-8), who have lost seven of eight.
