(KSL News) -- Property taxes may be going up in Kaysville. City officials say the move might be necessary in order to pay the salaries of new city employees.
The city council has already approved an increase in city taxes on electricity and natural gas, but say that is still not enough to pay for the new positions.
The council will meet in August to make a decision on the property tax proposal.
