WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Mo Williams scored all seven of his points in the final minute of overtime to help Army beat Maine 72-69 on Sunday.
Maine led 66-65 in OT when Williams hit a 3-pointer with 57 seconds to play to put Army up 68-66. A free throw by Shaun Lawton pulled the Black Bears within one, 68-67, but Williams was fouled and hit two free throws for a 70-67 Army lead. Till Gloger's basket made it 70-69 with 5 second left, but Williams hit two more free throws to ice the win.
Army's Tanner Plomb tied it at 60 with a jumper at 1:07 in the second half to send the game into overtime.
Plomb scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Kevin Ferguson added 10 points, and the Black Knights (8-2) outrebounded the Black Bears 43-33.
Zarko Valjarevic led Maine (1-9) with 22, Aaron Calixte scored 11 and Gloger 10.
